On 3rd May there will be the chance to elect three councillors to represent you in Garforth and Swillington Ward.
We believe that local residents want local councillors to represent them – on local issues ahead of party politics.
Garforth and Swillington Independent Councillors, Mark Dobson and Sarah Field will be seeking re-election and will be hoping our latest team member will be joining us as your councillor representing you.
Suzanne McCormack is a local activist with a history of campaigning on environmental matters.
She joins the Garforth and Swillington Independents to campaign against Labour’s green belt housing policy for our area, environmental issues, and her particular passion of supporting young people and vulnerable adults.
“I’m delighted to be working with Sarah and Mark to support our community over the council’s plans to decimate the unique nature of our towns and villages and in their work supporting local people.
I will be working hard with Garforth and Swillington Independents to safeguard our community and enhance our our area for all of us.
Garforth and Swillington need all three of your votes in May to enable us to continue to put your issues first and not be influenced by outdated party loyalties”.
